Ok, so perhaps I was hasty with my last blog. I am apparently still in Crazy Time. Or, at least, a slightly less hectic version of Crazy Time – I’m managing one night and/or one weekend day off a week, which is a vast improvement on the past three months and is quite refreshing.

This past weekend, for example, was relatively quiet. Until my car broke down in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the way home from work on Friday. Then I had to get the local police to rescue me with flashing lights and use their car to push mine off the road and out of the traffic jam (this was the most fun part of the whole experience). However, I got stuck in New Jersey until 9pm and spent my free Saturday (sob) getting my car to work and getting some bookcases put into my apartment. I even snuck in an audition for a film which I managed to get cast in (along with getting a nice compliment from the director!). Sunday was a blissful day of watching Star Trek: TNG on DVD and not much else.

However, projects keep popping up – a show I’ve been scheduled to do for a while has just gone into rehearsal, and I just got a couple of days’ filming for the above-mentioned short film – so despite my attempts to get a more ‘normal’ balance back to my life, I’m still busier than your average bee. Feels good.
