Today I picked up my copies of some photographs that I took with a fabulous photographer, John Minchillo. He is putting together a piece of documentary photography about non-native NYC actors, musicians and performers – looking at their passion and their sacrifice in moving to the city that never sleeps. I was fortunate enough to work with John on the project and he took some amazing photos of me, signifying my passion (expression) and sacrifice (separation from family, being an ‘outsider’) and he kindly made me two beautiful prints of the outcome of our collaboration.
